Job Summary

A high-performing secondary school in Cambridge is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher of French to join its successful Modern Foreign Languages department from January 2026.

Languages are highly valued within the school with strong uptake at GCSE and a clear focus on developing confident communicators. The MFL department is well-organised and collaborative offering ECTs clear guidance shared planning and excellent mentoring.

The role will involve:

  • Teaching French across KS3KS4

  • Supporting students with speaking listening reading and writing

  • Working within a structured curriculum that builds fluency over time

  • Developing confidence in assessment and exam preparation
