Job Summary
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Materials Technician with at least 2 years of experience in materials testing to join our this role you will conduct on-site materials testing and analysis for various construction and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site testing of construction materials (concrete asphalt soil etc.) according to UK industry standards (BS EN ASTM).
Perform tests including plate testing concrete cube making and more.
Record and evaluate material performance ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Maintain field-testing equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure testing procedures are not delayed.
Collaborate with site teams to resolve material-related issues.
Required:
Minimum 2 years of field-based experience in materials testing specifically with a strong focus on materials such as concrete soil asphalt aggregates.
Experience with field testing equipment.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong commitment to quality and safety.
