About the role:

We are seeking an SDET who will build and maintain automation frameworks for UI API and backend this role you will develop scalable test automation using Java Selenium/Playwright Cucumber and Rest Assured while ensuring strong test coverage across functional and regression areas. Youll collaborate with developers during feature planning integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and help improve product quality through rootcause analysis and bestpractice automation.

• Strong programming skills in Java (OOP concepts collections exceptions)

• Hands-on experience with: Selenium WebDriver Cucumber / BDD TestNG / JUnit API testing (Rest Assured Postman)

• Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub)

• Good knowledge of SQL / basic database testing and NOSQL

• Strong debugging analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good to Have Experience with cloud platforms (GCP) Exposure to Docker / containers Performance testing knowledge (JMeter )

• Experience testing microservices architectures Knowledge of test reporting and dashboards

Key responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain automated test frameworks for UI API and backend services Build scalable and reusable automation using Java (or relevant language

• Develop and execute UI automation using Selenium / Playwright and BDD frameworks like Cucumber Implement API automation using Rest Assured / similar tools

• Participate in test planning test strategy and test design for new features Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Perform root cause analysis of failures and work closely with developers to resolve issue

• Ensure test coverage for functional regression smoke and sanity testing Review test code and enforce automation best practices
