Job Summary
David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit an AV Specialist to join their team in Bucharest Romania & support global operations.
Position: AV Specialist (global)
Location: Bucharest Romania
Employment type: Full-time
Remuneration: Base salary
Duties & Responsibilities
Install configure test and maintain AV broadcast and studio production equipment
Set up and manage hardware systems and IT networking for stable studio operations
Perform advanced cabling and crimping on connectors such as BNC RJ45 and XLR
Support virtual studio environments and live production setups
Operate and troubleshoot transmission links scalers and matrix systems
Diagnose and resolve technical faults to minimise downtime
Support outside broadcasts and international studio installations
Design and implement custom AV and technical solutions when required
Collaborate closely with creative production and technical teams
Travel regularly to other studio locations globally.
Requirements
Proven experience in AV broadcast studio production or live technical environments
Strong knowledge of professional cameras video workflows and production equipment
Experience with video switchers SDI infrastructure and live broadcast setups
Hands-on experience with virtual studios or chroma keying is a strong advantage
Solid understanding of AV hardware electronics and networking basics
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Willingness to travel frequently.
