Job Summary

- Champion adoption of GitHub Copilot and other AI developer tools within the organization.
- Train and mentor developers on AI-assisted coding effective prompting automated test generation and documentation acceleration.
- Establish and enforce best practices coding standards and guidelines for AI-driven software development.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve code quality and reduce development time using AI tools.
- Build and maintain backend services using Java or Python.
- Architect scalable backend systems using serverless containerized or microservices patterns on AWS.
- Integrate AI logic into backend workflows APIs and event-driven systems.
- Ensure secure efficient and production-ready code implementation.
- Lead design reviews provide architectural guidance and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with product owners cloud engineers and DevOps teams to deliver AI-enabled solutions.
- Define roadmaps for AI adoption and help scale AI maturity across the organization.
- Build and optimize AI workloads on AWS using Lambda ECS/EKS API Gateway S3 DynamoDB and Step Functions.
- Work with data engineering teams to prepare datasets for AI and feature engineering.
- Ensure compliance with security governance and cloud best practices.
- Requirements: 6-8 years of backend engineering experience (Java Python) 1-2 years of AI experience hands-on with GitHub Copilot (or similar) strong cloud-native AI integration (preferably AWS) experience in API design and microservices strong knowledge of AWS services familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD and excellent communication and mentoring skills.
