About the Opportunity
A large and rapidly growing Southern California hospital is seeking a NICU Clinical Manager to provide leadership direction and operational excellence within its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior nursing and executive leadership in a comprehensive multi-specialty environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced NICU or Postpartum nurse leader who excels at mentoring teams improving performance and building trust across interdisciplinary departments.

What Youll Be Doing
Provide day-to-day operational and clinical leadership for the NICU
Oversee staffing patient care delivery and clinical performance
Foster a culture of teamwork accountability and transparent communication
Collaborate with nursing leadership physicians and hospital administration to enhance care delivery
Implement evaluate and sustain policies procedures and quality improvement initiatives
Manage departmental budgets staffing plans and resource allocation
Lead training mentoring and staff development initiatives
Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance and survey readiness
Partner with human resources on recruitment retention and workforce initiatives

Qualifications
Active California Registered Nurse license required
Bachelors degree in Nursing required; Masters degree preferred
Minimum of three to five years of NICU and/or Postpartum clinical experience
Minimum of five years of experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams
Strong leadership communication and decision-making skills
Experience working in a union environment preferred
Los Angeles County Fire Card and ARC certification required within 30 days of hire

*Hospital experience required

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $156000 $189000 annually
