Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: San Francisco California United States
This position is Monday-Friday. Must be willing to commit to at least five days per week in the San Francisco office from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during the initial training period (approx 3 months) and then at least two days per week after the training period.
Responsibilities:

Monitor and reconcile ledgers and prepare daily accounts payable reports across multiple bank accounts

Verify code and process operational and third-party invoices including managing invoice holds and payment cycles

Review reconcile and process corporate credit card statements employee reimbursements and expense reports
-
Reconcile monthly vendor statements and investigate and resolve discrepancies
-
Maintain vendor W-9 documentation and support annual 1099 reporting
-
Assist with financial reporting tax audits and special finance projects

Maintain compliant vendor files in accordance with security and BAA requirements
-
Support management with vendor contracts and ongoing vendor relationships
Requirements:
-
Associates degree in Accounting required Bachelors degree preferred
-
2 years of accounts payable experience; prior law firm experience strongly preferred
-
Solid knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices
-
QuickBooks experience preferred
-
Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills
-
Proven ability to manage time effectively meet deadlines and work independently

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work in the San Francisco office five days per week during initial training (approx. 3 months) and at least two days per week thereafter
