Job Summary:

Value Technology is seeking a skilled System Administrator responsible for the installation configuration maintenance and reliable operation of IT systems and infrastructure. The role involves ensuring system availability performance security and scalability while providing technical support and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.

Deliverables / Tasks

The Database Administrator key deliverables include but are not limited to the following:
Managing and maintaining all production and non-production databases related to the EFS modernization project.
Managing and maintaining the Enhanced Field System (EFS) migration process.
Maintaining and updating the DEL website Parent Portal as necessary.
Actively participate in meetings or other project activities to produce project deliverables.
Producing monthly status reports that outline accomplishments and planned activities for the following month.
Understanding the project requirements and project goals and using that understanding to produce project deliverables.
Communicating project progress and information to key stakeholders.
Assisting in the preparation of information for program leadership team executive steering committee and project management as appropriate.
Ensuring technical direction and standards for database maintenance access and security are being followed.
Identifying and eliminating obstacles to solution plans business goals or implementation. Assist in the development and implementation of contingency plans.
Participating in conference calls with State and Federal stakeholders as necessary.
Researching and maintaining knowledge in database administration and possible application to the project/program.
