Job Summary:
- Provide strategic leadership and set the technical vision for platform engineering initiatives
- Lead the implementation of new tools and solutions to enhance existing platforms
- Influence technology choices standards and best practices across the organization
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to senior and lead engineers
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain technology roadmaps
- Drive significant impact on the organizations technical platform strategy
- Identify recommend and implement solutions for platform improvements
- Develop and communicate architectural strategies for current and future platforms
- Design and deliver scalable reliable and high-performing platform solutions
- Ensure platform services meet standards for availability performance and scalability
- Stay current with technological advancements to automate and modernize systems
- Provide technical consulting and serve as a subject matter expert on platform technologies
- Contribute to multi-year big-picture platform strategies
- Monitor project deliverables and ensure their timely completion
- Collaborate with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Manage own workstream and partner with solution delivery development QA security and business teams
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactively identify and address potential technical issues
- Adapt to new tools technologies and methodologies as needed
- Ensure security and networking best practices are followed
- Foster strong relationships through effective communication and collaboration
