Job Summary

IFS Cloud Manufacturing Functional Consultant

Location: Pan India

Role Summary

The IFS Cloud Manufacturing Functional Consultant designs configures and deploys manufacturing execution & planning processes across Make to Stock/Forecast (MTS) Make to Order (MTO) Assemble to Order (ATO) Configure to Order (CTO) and Engineer to Order (ETO); sets up BOMs routings work centers shop orders production reporting quality/SPC and connects planning inventory/WMS and finance for one truth operations.

Key Responsibilities

1) Manufacturing Process Design

Run footprint discovery for discrete & mixed mode operations; map AS IS/TO BE covering BOM/PDM routings shop floor reporting and backflushing.
Define ETO/CTO governance (engineering change variant management) and PLM handshakes.

2) Configuration & Execution

Understand the Configuration and test the business processes for work centers calendars labor & machine resources operation standards; shop orders & execution quality checks/SPC and non conformance flows.
Align inventory valuation and WIP postings with Finance.

3) Planning & Scheduling

Enable S&OP / master planning & simulation MRP/DDMRP where applicable; set planning policies horizons and buffers;
Connect ATP/CTP with Sales for order promising.

4) Integrations (PLM/MES/SCM) & Reporting

Specify interfaces to PLM (CAD connectors/PDM) MES/Shop floor data capture and Supply Chain;
Implement reconciliation and exception controls; configure manufacturing dashboards.

5) Quality Compliance & Traceability

Understand the Configuration and test the business processes for in process inspection SPC NC/CAPA and traceability requirements for regulated industries.

6) Testing Training & Hypercare

Build end to end test packs (plan make move account); deliver super user training and SOPs; hypercare focused on throughput and first pass yield.

Skills & Experience

Manufacturing ERP with IFS Cloud implementations across MTS/MTO/ATO/CTO/ETO shop floor execution and planning.
Hands on in BOM/routings shop orders quality/SPC master planning/MRP and finance integration for WIP & variances.
Experience with PLM connectors and MES/IoT style data capture preferred; strong governance/UAT/cutover.

Skills

Exposure to lean manufacturing and visual/finite scheduling- Good to have
Awareness of IFS roadmap considerations in manufacturing towers.
