We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support rehabilitation services in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents improve mobility strength balance and functional independence.
Key Responsibilities-
Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans as established by the Physical Therapist.

Provide therapeutic exercises gait training balance activities and functional mobility interventions.

Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Accurately document treatment sessions and patient progress in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises mobility strategies and safety precautions.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident-centered rehabilitation goals.

Maintain compliance with state regulations facility policies and professional standards of practice.

Active state Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required.

Less than one (1) year of experience accepted; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt to varying schedules and patient needs.
