Job Summary

Elastic Search Admin

Location: 1 Edison Dr (Alpharetta GA) (3 days Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months Contract Potential to convert

Interview: Virtual round but the client can ask to come onsite for final discussion

Area: Infrastructure Platform --- builds ELK clusters (backend side -- team builds the platform)

Must Haves:

7 years of experience as an Elastic Search Admin
- Must have strong Elasticsearch (cluster design scaling index tuning)
- Logstash
- Kibana
Has to have been an ELK Admin (NOT engineer/Application Developer) -- doesnt want ELK developer
- Set up entire cluster from scratch done upgrades from different elastic versions knows in and outs how to set up data and master notes.
- Ability to build new elastic search clusters and maintain
ELK Architecture & Operations Exp
- Cluster Sizing & Capacity Planning High availability and performance optimization ILM Policies (Index Lifecycle Mgmt) Hot/Warm/Cold Storage Architecture Index Templates Version Control and Patching Exp
Automation & Scripting Knowledge
- Ansible Unix/Shell Scripting GIT
Data Integration & Observability Tools
- Kafka Logstash Pipelines
- Beats
Monitoring Exp
- Grafana Dashboards
- Alerting for ELK Performance and Cluster health exp
Great communication (written and verbal)
- Team player and ability to think outside the box
