Hybrid role 3 days onsite in Spring TX

job Duties/Roles

The Engineering Applications team based in the ABS Headquarters Office in Texas is seeking an engineer to:
Develop and test engineering applications for ships and offshore structures
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and create modularized software code
Ensure the development and unit testing in accordance with established standards
Participate in reviews of solution designs and related codes
Analyze and resolve technical and application problems and identify opportunities for improvement.
Package and support deployment of releases
Provide technical support for internal and external users

Required Skills

Looking for engineer with programming capability - needs someone who can understand engineering/ships and also has engineering capabilities
Wants to see candidates with exp with ships oil and gas platform and floating structures
Familiar with coding in FORTRAN
Ability to /C# or equivalent and Visual Studio 2019
Experience with ship or offshore structural analysis and finite element method
