Job Title: Partnership Taxation Senior Manager (Operating)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Partnership Tax Senior Manager to lead complex partnership tax engagements provide strategic tax consulting services and oversee high-performing client service teams. This leadership role requires deep expertise in Sub-chapter K partnership taxation and the ability to manage multiple engagements while delivering exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical tax knowledge leadership capability and business development experience within a top-tier public accounting environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead primary and secondary reviews of complex partnership tax returns

Evaluate tax implications of partnership agreements and manage IRC 704(b) capital accounts

Oversee client engagements including planning execution and completion of tax projects

Provide innovative tax planning and consulting solutions

Research and consult on partnership taxation matters (Sub-chapter K)

Respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries
-
Maintain active client communication and manage expectations
-
Supervise mentor and develop tax professionals
-
Participate in business development initiatives and proposal efforts
-
Manage budgets and multiple concurrent engagements
-
Travel as needed
Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting
-
Active CPA license (Required)
-
Minimum 10 years of progressive tax compliance and/or consulting experience

Background in a Top 10 public accounting firm (Required)

Strong experience in partnership taxation and Sub-chapter K
-
Experience reviewing partnership joint venture and non-corporate entity tax returns
-
Proficiency in US GAAP and tax accounting standards

Ability to work hybrid schedule (3 days onsite per week)

Strong leadership and mentoring experience
