JOB DESCRIPTION-

Were looking for someone who is obsessed with making world class training apparel and understands what product excellence means.

An individual who has a history of effectively influencing internal and external partners. This person works collaboratively with others as part of a triad team supporting efforts to achieve meaningful objectives and remaining connected to sports and sport lifestyle daily. They are expected to think ambitiously overcome obstacles innovate and implement strategies to benefit the athlete.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the product creation for our elite to everyday training athletes. This is a high visibility role with both strategic and creative facets of the work.
You will lead product and design reviews connect with merchandising at key strategy check-ins participate in cross-functional meetings create compelling visual tools to influence design merchandising and our downstream geography partners.
Product Strategy and Business Insight:
Defining and driving a vision and product strategy that transcends the sport and drives energy at retail
Working with design and merchandising to enable clear storytelling all the way to our athletes and consumers
Partnering with sports marketing Client training athletes and consumers to gather insights and product approval

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Marketing Retail Merchandising Business an equivalent to 2 additional years relevant work experience or combination of relevant education experience and training
Minimum 6 years relevant experience in product-related roles
Product management experience and knowledge in performance apparel a plus

Must Haves:

Experience in global product creation for training apparel
Existing product or merchandising experience
Experience in high cross functionality with large teams

Nice to Haves:

Nike systems experience - quick ramp up so knowledge of Nikes systems and processes is a HUGE plus
Proficient in keynote excel Miro big plus is MMX (an internal Nike tool - HM does not know of similar tools)
Personal interest or experience in training fitness - ideally interest outside of work experience.
