Job Summary

Were looking for a professional who is organized detail-oriented and communicative to support multiple litigation attorneys in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will take initiative manage competing priorities and provide excellent support to both attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage high volume medical malpractice and products liability cases
  • Electronically file documents in state and federal courts
  • Maintain and organize client files
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation including drafting jury instructions deposition designations witness and exhibit lists etc.
  • Update and maintain attorney calendars re: hearings depositions mediations and scheduling orders
  • Schedule and coordinate depositions including subpoenas and notices
  • Arrange for service of process with sheriffs office and private process servers
  • Assist with video conferences and remote depositions
  • Track client expenses and submit them for reimbursement or billing
  • Communicate with opposing counsel and court clerks serve as liaison between attorneys clients and external contacts

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel etc.)
  • Familiarity with document management systems and case management software
  • Committed to providing excellent legal support
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Minimum of five years of relevant paralegal experience preferred
