Job Description

Assist attorneys with estate planning probate guardianship and civil litigation matters from start to finish
Draft pleadings motions discovery responses estate documents and related legal materials
Conduct legal research and prepare initial drafts for attorney review
Track deadlines court dates filings and case milestones
Communicate with clients beneficiaries and court personnel regarding case status and documentation
Maintain accurate files while ensuring confidentiality and compliance
Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff to keep cases moving efficiently

Qualifications

Associates Degree Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience
2 plus years of experience in probate or civil litigation
Strong legal writing research and organizational skills
Experience using Westlaw Microsoft Word Excel and legal case management systems
Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines
Professional communication style and attention to detail
