Key Responsibilities -
Maintain strict confidentiality in all client matters

Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and business entities

Prepare estimated tax payments for individuals and businesses
-
Research tax issues and provide well-supported conclusions

Respond to IRS and state tax notices
-
Develop an understanding of clients businesses and financial objectives
-
Identify potential ethical independence or conflict-of-interest issues and escalate to management as needed

Utilize and build proficiency in tax software workflow systems and internal procedures
-
Follow established firm processes practices and quality standards

Produce accurate high-quality work in compliance with taxing authorities GAAP and firm policies

Demonstrate knowledge of IRS Circular 230 and the AICPA Professional Code of Conduct

Participate in community events networking recruiting activities and firm-sponsored initiatives
Qualifications -
Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited university

OR actively pursuing a professional certification from an accredited institution

Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and organizational skills
