Job Summary
Title: Sr. Tax Manager
Location: Alpharetta GA or Gainesville GA
Compensation: $150000 $200000 (DOE)
Position Overview
Our client is looking to add a Tax Manager to their expanding team in Alpharetta or Gainesville. This role is designed for an experienced tax professional who enjoys working with trusts estates and nonprofit organizations while providing strategic tax planning to clients.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a client-focused mindset helping deliver exceptional service while contributing to the firms continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and review of tax filings for trusts estates individuals partnerships C-Corp and tax-exempt organizations
- Provide advisory support related to tax planning compliance strategy and risk mitigation
- Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and proactive guidance
- Work closely with partners and internal teams to ensure engagement quality and accuracy
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and contribute to business development

Review staff work and provide coaching to support professional growth
Required Qualifications

Active CPA license

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Tax (Masters degree preferred)
- 5 years of public accounting experience with ideal to have experience with trusts estates or nonprofit taxation
- Strong familiarity with fiduciary accounting and tax regulations related to charitable organizations
- Ability to manage multiple engagements in a deadline-driven environment
