Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Plating Operator to work on-site with our client a top-tier electronics manufacturing company. This hands-on role supports production operations within the Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) where quality precision and care are critical to delivering leading-edge components.

This is an exciting opportunity to establish yourself within a newly launched advanced manufacturing this role you will support electroplating processes that add metal to precision parts improving both their functionality and value.

Responsibilities:

Prepare machined parts for the electroplating process.
Load prepared parts into automated plating systems.
Select and load the correct recipe programs for each part.
Initiate and monitor plating processes to ensure quality and consistency.
Inspect plated parts for defects using defined inspection criteria and tools.
Collaborate with plating technicians and engineers to evaluate and resolve process issues.
Partner with other PMTC departments to maintain bath quality and ensure parts flow efficiently through production schedules to meet absorption metrics.
Maintain a strong safety culture including proper PPE usage and adherence to chemical handling procedures.
Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Be flexible to work overtime as business needs require (overtime compensated per Colorado state law and company policy).

Must-Have Qualifications:

At least 1 years experience in Plating/metrology or measurement tooling and critical cosmetic inspection and handling of delicate and or applicable skills.
Must be able to read prints and comprehend GD&T methodology.
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and process documentation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable safety-conscious and self-motivated.
Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in electroplating chemical processing or manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with automated production equipment or inspection tools.
Experience working in high-precision or regulated manufacturing settings.
