Role Summary
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Business Analyst acts as the primary liaison between marketing stakeholders and technical teams translating business requirements into scalable SFMC solutions that drive measurable B2B outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather analyze and document business requirements for B2B marketing campaigns and lifecycle programs
- Translate marketing objectives into functional and technical SFMC requirements
- Partner with Solutions Architects and Developers to define data journey and automation needs
- Support backlog grooming sprint planning and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Ensure campaign requirements align with compliance consent and data usage policies
- Develop process flows use cases and functional specifications
- Monitor delivered solutions to ensure they meet business KPIs
- Support change management training and documentation
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in MarTech or CRM environments
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Salesforce CRM
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing funnels and campaign operations
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills
