Role: Project Manager - Scrum Master
Location: Vancouver BC (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Scrum Master with over 18 years of experience in Agile delivery team coaching and enterprise transformation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and servant leader capable of driving Agile practices across multiple teams and departments. You will work closely with Product Owners Engineering Managers and senior stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups Sprint Planning Reviews Retrospectives) across multiple teams.
Mentor and coach Scrum Masters Product Owners and Agile teams on best practices.
Drive Agile adoption and maturity across the organization.
Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
Foster a culture of collaboration transparency and continuous improvement.
Partner with leadership to align Agile practices with business goals.
Track and report on key Agile metrics (velocity burndown cycle time).
Lead Agile Release Train (ART) planning and execution in SAFe environments (if applicable).
Manage cross-team dependencies and risks.
Champion Agile tools and frameworks (JIRA Confluence SAFe LeSS etc.).
Required Qualifications:
15 years of experience in IT or software development with at least 10 years in Agile roles.
Proven track record as a Scrum Master in large-scale enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban SAFe LeSS).
Excellent facilitation coaching and conflict-resolution skills.
Experience with Agile metrics and reporting tools.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) PMI-ACP or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in Agile transformation initiatives.
Background in software engineering or product development.
Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Experience working in regulated industries (finance healthcare etc.).
