Role Summary

We are looking for a Product Owner with a strong data background and deep understanding of AWS-based data platforms. This role owns the product vision roadmap and delivery for data-driven platforms and works closely with engineering analytics and business stakeholders. This is not a hands-on coding role and not a pure business PO. The ideal candidate understands data cloud architecture and AWS services well enough to drive the right product decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Own and drive the product roadmap for data platforms built on AWS
Translate business requirements into clear user stories acceptance criteria and priorities
Work closely with data engineers cloud engineers and architects on AWS-based solutions
Make product decisions informed by data analysis metrics and business outcomes
Define success metrics and KPIs for data products and platforms
Act as the primary interface between business product and engineering teams
Participate in sprint planning backlog grooming and release planning
Ensure alignment between business goals and scalable cloud-native data solutions
Manage dependencies risks and stakeholder expectations

Required Skills & Experience

10 years of experience as a Product Owner in technical environments
Strong background in data analysis or data platforms
Solid understanding of AWS services especially in data contexts:
- S3 Redshift RDS DynamoDB Lambda
Experience working with data engineers analytics teams and cloud engineers
Ability to interpret SQL queries dashboards and data models (hands-on analysis a plus)
Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria for technical teams
Experience owning data or platform products not just UI features
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

Former Data Analyst BI Analyst or Data Engineer who moved into Product
Experience in Retail Supply Chain Commerce or Platform products
Comfortable making product decisions in data-heavy and AWS-native environments
