Executive Briefing Center Audio/Visual Specialist
Position is Onsite in Santa Clara
2-5 Years of Experience. Provides administrative and clerical support to managers and/or staff. Answers calls coordinates messages and provides information to callers. Handles internal and external mail. Maintains files office supplies and operates office equipment. Creates and proofs documents. May be assigned to various functional areas of the company.
The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Briefing Center Audio/Visual Specialist. This person can work independently and proactively in a fast-paced high profile and high stress environment. Primary responsibilities will include day to day meeting management for our Santa Clara headquarters including executive meeting support. This role requires someone who is detailed extremely organized and can manage multiple projects at once. The normal work week is 40 hours per week with occasional required overtime. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities
Applicant will perform tasks that include setup testing and overall support of meetings including some video production.
Involved with the install and maintenance of conference room systems.
Troubleshooting conference room systems
Training users how to use conference room systems and applications
Working with Executive Administrators to pick the best solutions for meetings
Working directly with vendors to resolve meeting related issues
Working with Engineering on new solutions and testing new applications
Deliver an exceptional attendee experience for all programs; anticipate challenges and be resourceful to recommend efficient and achievable solutions to ensure success
Qualifications
An associate degree or equivalent experience is desired.
Excellent communications skills
Ability to work in a global multi-cultural environment
Efficient project management attention to detail and organization skills.
Ability to multi-task and adjust to shifting priorities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a globally dispersed team
Comfortable in fast-paced multi-tasking environments.
Experience with Skype Zoom WebEx and other meeting software platforms.
Experience with video production environments and terminology.
Intermediate-skill level using Windows and Mac operating systems.
Proficiency in interfacing computers with various displays.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office particularly PowerPoint.
Proficiency with interfacing computers with external peripherals
Need to be familiar with a range of audio and visual equipment such as sound boards cameras lighting mics. Including arranging connecting tuning and operation of video and lighting equipment.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
