Functional Tester – Manual

Location: Boston MA

• Understanding of investment banking portfolio management trading compliance and analytics in FI INDEX.

• Senior Business Analyst or QA Analyst with experience in OCIO applications and extensive asset management experience especially in trading cash and new mandates workflows.

• Experience translating functional business requirements into technical specifications (preferably in finance accounting derivatives or portfolio management sectors).

• Should have a good understanding of the investment banking/asset management domain.

• Experience in Finance Investments Portfolio Management Portfolio Construction Front Office Compliance Risk Management and major Capital Markets exposure. The candidates last project should be with an investment banking organization.

• Experience in writing scenarios and test cases and handling functional testing while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

• Agile knowledge project management skills and the ability to manage high-profile programs.

• Ability to work as part of a large IT team with multiple stakeholders and demonstrated strong problem-solving skills.

• Exposure to working on large programs dealing with multiple integrations (internal/external) and centralized data lakes.

Required Skills:

• Ability to work in a high-stress environment with frontline portfolio managers.

• Strong demonstrable record of customer service. The consultant must understand customer needs build effective relationships and convey plans issues and concerns to clients and team members in a clear logical and concise manner.

• Must be customer-driven able to work within a team environment and focused on providing high-quality service to customers.

• Recent experience in QA for front office applications especially Portfolio Construction tools.

• Experience in manual testing SQL knowledge expertise in UI automation and database automation tools such as UFT and Python performance testing tools like JMeter proficiency in Excel macros and knowledge of Java.

• Must be experienced in all aspects of the test life cycle including writing test plans and test cases test execution defect triage reporting and metrics.
