What will you be doing in this role
Respond to and manage on-site medical emergencies in accordance with established protocols and company policies
Provide first aid and nursing care for both work-related and non-work-related injuries or illnesses
Assess employees and deliver early intervention and ergonomic support to reduce discomfort and prevent injury
Conduct and document drug screens medical surveillances and pre-placement physical examinations including hearing and FIT testing
Communicate document and initiate incident reports in compliance with company regulatory and confidentiality requirements
Inspect maintain and perform routine checks of EMS and site-wide medical equipment; report deficiencies as needed
Manage medical supplies and inventory to ensure readiness and compliance
Administer preventive and wellness programs including flu shot clinics vaccinations heat stress management and other health initiatives

Our ideal candidate will have:
- Active LPN licensure or ability to obtain licensure
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- Basic knowledge of workers compensation and OSHA regulations preferred
- The ability to stand walk and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
- Previous occupational health experience is a plus
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment without constant supervision
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel
