Job Summary
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a full-time 8-week summer this position you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals.
As a Process Systems and OOE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) intern you will work closely with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in process design optimization and system integration. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development maintenance and improvement of process systems in a real-world industrial setting.
This position will be based onsite at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano CA. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.
Heres what youll do:
- Assist in the analysis and design of process systems to improve efficiency safety and reliability
- Support in collecting cleaning and organizing data
- Help in analyzing data to identify trends patterns and insights that support business objectives
- Design and build interactive dashboards using PowerBI Ignition and ArchestrA
- Leverage SQL to efficiently store and manage data gathered from various systems
- Identify develop and support continuous improvement opportunities
- Update and develop departmental SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Assist with WOW projects and identifying quick wins
- Provide general administrative support to the automation team
Qualifications :
Heres what youll bring to the table:
- Must be a current Wonderful Scholar
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Industrial Automation Engineering or related
- Must upload a resume professional reference and cover letter with your application
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work autonomously
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
