Lead and inspire the MCDC Logistics teams to secure goods availability efficient low-cost goods flow processes and logistics competence. Act as an active Steering team member contributing to an excellent customer shopping experience through high goods availability customer centric service operations and a safe unit environment always. Support individual development and business expansion by securing a living succession plan is in place for all key positions within the MCDC logistics function.
Work closely with the Country Fulfilment team as well as with the Country commercial team to secure the highest possible availability most efficient inbound and customer order fulfilment processes to the lowest possible cost.
Actively contribute to the creation of the MCDC business plan using global and country input to develop the logistics direction for the Mexican Market. Ensures all relevant strategies and priorities are known and implemented in the unit.
Identify recruit and develop the talents within the MCDC logistics teams to secure long-term logistical succession. Strive to maintain diverse and competent teams that are executing their assigned responsibilities with confidence.
Create and maintain the right long-term logistics capacity to support the Mexico growth plan. this includes space equipment and people as part of the total Supply Chain capacity.
Secures units daily work towards an effective and efficient goods flow and that safety in goods handling is understood and followed in the operations. Secure unit is following and meeting the objectives and goals mentioned in the Global Supply Chain Operational Handbook local appendixes and service agreements signed with the transport providers.
Monitors the units logistical performance and uses root cause analysis to identify and act upon deviations that is hindering the teams to achieve agreed goals as stated in their business and/or functional plans.
Analyse and create actions based on feedback from customer satisfaction surveys co-worker satisfaction surveys Main Topic reviews and CMP reviews with the aim to contribute to a great customer shopping experience.
Positioning IKEA and the brand as a responsible partner committed to lowering the environmental impact by taking actions contributing to a sustainable long-term profitability.
Ensure that the unit logistics teams work in compliance with the IKEA Code of Conduct internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health safety security and environment.
