As a Manager Strategic Sourcing supporting Marketing and Commercial teams you will be trusted to lead sourcing initiatives across key marketing procurement categories such as media agencies creative agencies promotional activities and meetings & events in the Americas. You will partner closely with Brand Directors and senior stakeholders across the Americas to deliver high-value procurement strategies drive cost savings and ensure best-in-class supplier performance.

In this role a typical day will include:

• Partner with Marketing and Commercial leadership to identify sourcing opportunities and develop category strategies.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including RFP and RFQ processes supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Analyze supplier proposals pricing structures and market benchmarks to support fact-based sourcing decisions.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across the Americas.
• Track procurement performance metrics and support cost savings initiatives through data-driven insights.
  

WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work in multinational and matrix organizations.
• Experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing sourcing processes.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to evaluate supplier proposals and pricing structures.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Marketing Procurement (media agencies creative agencies meetings & events).
