Make your mark in our Distribution Team

We are transforming our operating model and reshaping our role responsibilities and career pathways. As our Business Development Manager you will be responsible for achieving production targets across all lines of business through the successful execution of targeted strategies. This role will drive profitable growth in production through collaboration with Commercial and Personal product towers to identify how to best develop and leverage agency distribution opportunities in preferred market / industry segments.

How you will create an impact

  • Accountable for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with national brokers.
  • Contribute to the sales channel practices to improve agents productivity.
  • Developing targeted plans to ensure growth in revenue across all AIG products.
  • Lead relationship and execution of commercial strategies for national producers to deliver increased retention and new business production.
  • Development and execution of best practices with Product Lines and other stakeholders.

What youll need to succeed

  • Experience managing national brokers and/or mid-size corporate accounts
  • Solid understanding of commercial lines (P&C Financial Lines Marine etc.)
  • Ability to identify client and broker needs and translate them into actionable commercial opportunities
  • Adequate management of sales KPIs (for example: quote ratio hit ratio etc) and pipeline
  • Proven ability to reach sales and retention targets
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret KPIs portfolio performance and market behavior
  • Experience managing and updating pipeline forecasts and activity reports
  • Ability to support the execution of commercial strategies and business plans
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across underwriting claims and operations
