Your strategic leadership will strengthen and grow our areas of research excellence including domestic and family violence child and family forensic mental health palliative care and technology supported social work interventions (climate and poverty) as well as new and emerging areas. Successful collaboration with major research centres and institutes - including the Disrupting Violence and Inclusive Futures Beacons the Centre for Mental Health Research and Griffith Criminology Institute will be expected. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with accreditation standards is maintained for all social work and human service programs and field education and will represent the University on high-level bodies including the Australian Council of Heads of Social Work Education.
About you
You are a passionate and successful academic in the field of Social Work. You will have an international track record in fundable research publishing in high quality outlets and successfully supervising higher degree research students to timely completion. You will have significant experience in developing quality social work curricula and in leading teams to excellence in learning and teaching delivery. You will be ready to make a strong contribution to the School University and wider community through experience in governance and professional service.

This is a full-time continuing position based at Griffith University at either the Logan or Gold Coast -person attendance on-campus is a requirement of the role.
The full-time base salary for a Professor (level E) is $215130 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package is $251702 per annum.
