Job Title: Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Hybrid 3 Days Onsite per Week

About the Role

Were seeking a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to drive the design implementation and operation of secure scalable and cost-effective cloud platforms. This role blends hands-on technical execution with strategic leadership supporting business-critical systems operating at scale.

Youll collaborate closely with engineering security and business stakeholders to design and optimize cloud infrastructure across Azure AWS and Google Cloud environments. This opportunity is ideal for a senior cloud professional who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges while setting standards and guiding teams forward.

What Youll Do

• Lead architecture design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions

• Establish and evolve best practices for operating and scaling cloud-based platforms

• Research and design solutions for complex technical and business challenges

• Optimize cloud environments for performance reliability security and cost efficiency

• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform ARM Bicep or CloudFormation

• Develop and maintain architecture documentation diagrams standards and runbooks

• Partner with technical teams to support implementations and troubleshoot operational issues

• Monitor environments analyze incidents identify root causes and implement preventive measures

• Participate in on-call rotations and support production systems as needed

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with organizational goals

• Mentor engineers and contribute to cloud adoption and maturity initiatives

What Were Looking For

• 7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred)

• Strong working knowledge of AWS Google Cloud and Microsoft 365

• Proven experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure at scale

• Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code modular design and version control

• Experience automating infrastructure using Python and/or PowerShell

• Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks (ISO NIST FedRAMP GDPR)

• Demonstrated ability to optimize cloud costs performance and resource utilization

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra and privileged access management

• Strategic thinker with a hands-on delivery mindset

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification

• AWS and/or GCP certifications

• Experience mentoring engineers or leading cloud initiatives

• Background working in regulated or compliance-driven environments

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
