What you will do in this role:
As a Dietary Aide you play an important role in caring for our patients. For most a meal is more than just food. Its a moment of comfort and connection during a challenging time. Your kindness and attention help bring smiles and strength making a real difference every day. You will:
- Serve meals with care and encouragement
- Clear and clean tables creating a welcoming and comfortable dining space
- Assist with dishwashing and support the kitchen team to keep everything running smoothly
- Work closely with your team to ensure every patient receives the right meal on time with a friendly touch
- You may occasionally be asked to fill in as a Line Cook in the kitchen.

Qualifications :
Dietary Aide: Officially we title this job a Dietary Aide but in other centers it may be called a Restaurant Server Kitchen Helper or even a Dishwasher.
What we need from you:
- ServSafe Food Handler Certificate (preferred)
- Some prior food service experience specifically in a medical facility or commercial/central kitchen (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of computer-based documentation systems
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Ability to read write speak and understand English
- Ability to regularly push pull move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds and pass a pre-employment physical and background check

These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs) Short-term Care Rehabilitation Intermediate Care (ICFs) and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
Each center is unique; offering you a variety of long-term career opportunities.
