You will join our Bridges & Civils department

As our new Team Lead Existing Civil Structures you will be part of a world class innovation driven engineering design centre owned by an independent trust and its employees. REC is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence and based in our India head office in Gurgaon. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a centre for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization.

As a member of the bridge team you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out the design/assessment and review the work of Asst Engineer / Design engineers/Sr Engineer and CAD technicians in the team and maintaining quality of deliverables
• Overseeing and troubleshooting the work of bridge design/assessment guide Assistant Engineers / Design Engineers in carrying out the design/assessment and preparation of the drawings/models.
• coordination with the design team for project planning/preparation of schedule/WBS and delivering projects to agreed time and budget
• Take lead role in preparation of tenders budgets for the identified projects. Coordinate with tendering team and assist them in finalizing the tender
• Develop automation ideas sustainability schemes/proposals and bringing them to implementation.
• Should take initiatives to develop design ability of the Assistant Engineers / Design engineers and improve the quality of delivery of the team as whole
• mentoring and supervising Asst. Engineers/ Design Engineers and provide inputs to HoD/Technical manager for the continued development of the staff in the team.

• We are looking for self-motivated team members who meet the following requirements:
• BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute. ME/ M. Tech in Structural Engineering would be desirable
• Should have more than 14 years of experience in Bridge design assessment rehabilitation schemes. Knowledge of design codes like Euro code/DMRB/AASHTO.
• Good Knowledge in bridge assessment and preparation of rehabilitation schemes/proposals for  Steel composite and concrete Bridges using Lusas/Sofistik with Eurocodes.
• Have hands on experience in using any of the bridge design software (LUSAS/Sofistik/MIDAS/STAAD Pro etc)
• Should be a good team member and should coordinate with other team members and the project manager for timely delivery of project.
• Should be able to work in a team and support mentor and develop team members.
• Professional English language skills (written and verbal).
