Were looking for a commercially sharp relationship-driven professional to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic partners across financial services and key commercial categories.

As a Commercial Manager within the Qantas Business Rewards team you will be responsible for owning partner relationships end-to-end from negotiating and renewing agreements through to driving partner revenue growth and identifying new opportunities to deliver value for our partners and members. Youll work closely with senior stakeholders across Loyalty and partner organisations playing a key role in QBRs continued growth.

As a Commercial Leader within Qantas Loyalty this role will partner with senior (HO/EM) stakeholders as well as cross-functional business leads to deliver on critical commercial negotiations and implement commercial go-to-market agreements and strategies.

What Youll Bring:

  • 7 years experience in commercial partnerships business development or strategic account management ideally within financial services loyalty or a similarly complex B2B environment
  • Proven track record of growing commercial relationships and delivering against revenue targets
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills and proven ability to influence outcomes at senior levels.
  • Sharp commercial and financial acumen youre comfortable with business cases commercial modelling and performance analysis
  • Involvement in new business development and implementation  
  • A structured and lateral thinking style with the capability to quickly understand and
    apply new concepts owing to proven analytical financial and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging C-suite or senior partner contacts
  • The ability to work in and contribute to a high performing collaborative and engaged
    team environment whilst managing and prioritising diverse business objectives
  • A proactive outcomes-focused mindset you take initiative and drive results without needing to be asked with an ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in order to meet strict deadlines
  • A strong work ethic and a passion for drawing out and driving creativity and
    innovation
  • Ability to engage people through effective communication and leadership skills
