Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group providing high-capacity air charter and regular passenger transport services. We operate a fleet of aircraft from our base at Perth Airport and we specialise in mining industry support regional airline services routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying. 

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager Business Improvement to join our Engineering team. Reporting to the functional lead for business improvement this role will work closely with the Engineering Leadership Team the Group Engineering Board and key business leaders to identify evaluate and implement major strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of Group Engineering Board (GEB) initiatives for Network Aviation (NAA) and oversee all short- and long-term transformational projects. These projects span critical focus areas including labour strategy facilities footprint technology enablement commercial management and other emerging transformational opportunities. This role will also partner with corporate and business functions to ensure alignment with the strategic goals of the Group Network Aviation Engineering and Group Engineering.

Youll have  

• 510 years experience in project management and continuous improvement
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to generate pragmatic solutions to shared business problems
• Extensive experience with the Microsoft Suite particularly Excel
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all organisational levels
• Direct handson experience in business process redesign
• Power BI experience highly regarded
• Ability to simplify complex information build effective business cases and drive outcomes
