Role purpose
The Strategy Manager reports to the Director of Strategy and supports the delivery of the firms trust and growth agenda working closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and senior leaders across the business.
The role sits within the Strategy function and is responsible for translating strategic direction into executable initiatives ensuring alignment across Global Regional South ASPAC and LEAP 2.0 priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Director of Strategy in delivering the Strategy remit acting as a key contributor to strategy development and execution.
- Enable connectivity across Global Regional and South ASPAC Strategy agendas supporting alignment and cascading priorities across the firm.
- Contribute to strategic threads that underpin LEAP 2.0 sustainable growth trust and market differentiation.
- Support analysis across priority themes including:
- Scaling existing and adjacent offerings
- Evolving delivery models
- Changing workforce models and skills
- Adapting to the evolving impact of AI
- Support delivery of Director and CSO sponsored 100-day sprints translating agreed priorities into clear workplan milestones and outcomes.
- Apply consultative and collaborative approach to deliver time-bound execution sprints with accountability for progress insights and issue escalation.
- Track delivery against agreed outcomes ensuring initiatives transition effectively back into the Division for ownership and implementation.
- Support the Director in the development of business cases investment proposals and prioritisation recommendations.
- Conduct financial market and competitor analysis to support data led decision making.
- Contribute to targeted strategic investments including team lifts and acquisitions where appropriate.
- Prepare high quality materials for the National Executive Committee Board and Partner forums including strategy papers and recommendations.
- Provide concise insight led reporting to the Director highlighting progress risks and interdependencies.
Skills and experience
- Strong strategic commercial capability and execution focussed.
- Experience working with senior leadership teams.
- Ability to move between ambiguity and structure with confidence.
- Strong written and executive communication skills
- Curious
- Team player
