Job Summary
Vida Healthcare have currently several vacancies to join their community support team working out in the community and across our practices. These positions can be offered on a full or part-time basis so please apply to discuss.
The post-holder will be responsible for assistingthe GPs and clinical team in the service and delivery of the care to the practice population in the community setting. Theywill perform home visits and assessment based on identified needs and may also deliver a booked clinic within the practice premises.
Other duties will include;
- Undertake record andfollow guidelines for the tasks related to results management
- Measure and record; blood pressure pulse rate and rhythm temperature height/weight and BMI
- Perform ECGs blood glucose monitoring and venepuncture
- Administer influenza vaccines and B12 injections
- Undertake foot checks for diabetic patients

About the Candidate
To be considered for this position you will need the following:
- Minimum 18 months with Vida healthcare or health care service experience
- Advanced knowledge of long-term conditions and management
- Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social or Clinical care (preferred)
- Enthusiasm and motivation
- Ability to exceed expectations with patient care
- Full UK driving licence
