Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Reporting to the Manager Health Services this role functions as a key member of the Primary Health Care Team and is responsible to manage clients overall clinical visit. The incumbent performs a variety of Administrative and Team functions and acts as the clients key point of contact with their Team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients Team members and other professionals through direct participation in client care activities. This role is the face of a customer service system and ensures clients consistently receive responsiveness caring and concern. Empathy compassion and quality are at the core of the primary care clinics customer service system. The Primary Care Assistant must possess excellent customer service skills to assure all clients that they are the Teams only priority during their visit. This role requires an understanding of advanced access principles and concepts to support access and patient flow within an inter-professional environment.
