Hours for this position vary with up to 21 hours per First Nations University of Canada (FNUniv) allows students of all nations to learn in an environment of First Nations cultures and values. The University continues to uphold its mission of enhancing the quality of life and preserving protecting and interpreting First Nations peoples history language culture and artistic is a unique learning place specializing in Indigenous knowledge and providing post-secondary education for Indigenous and non-Indigenous students within a culturally supportive First Nations University of Canada is a federated college of the University of Regina and its academic programs are accredited through that values include wisdom respect humility sharing harmony beauty strength and to the Project Manager for the BIMW-CC project this position is responsible for scanning competencies and source material interviewing Elders and Knowledge Keepers and creating a guiding document to inform the Bachelor of Indigenous Mental Wellness Community Consult and Bridging program within INHS. Duties: Assist with research and conduct a review of Indigenous Mental Wellness competencies and teachings Meet with Elders Knowledge Keepers and ExpertsGather material as requestedSupport project organization and administration Conduct data analysis that will culminate in a final report Create a list of content experts for the programMaintain and track data using a variety of computer programsQualifications:Applicants should hold a Masters degree or be working towards a Master will be given to students with experience in health strong communication skills and ability to work independently Be comfortable with a variety of computer programs (word processing Excel PowerPoint etc.)If you are interested in this opportunity please apply online at .
