Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable customer-focused Car Park Attendant to join our Brisbane operations team. This hands-on role is critical to the day-to-day performance of our car park facilities ensuring they are clean safe functional and customer-friendly at all times.

The position offers variety and responsibility covering cleaning basic maintenance customer interaction event support and occasional ad hoc work such as painting and signage installation.

Role details:

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 am 3:30 pm (Full-time)
Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning & General Maintenance

Complete daily cleaning dutiesincluding sweeping rubbish removal and general presentation of parking areas.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all car park levels entries exits and pedestrian areas.
Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report or rectify them in line with procedures.

Equipment Monitoring & Minor Repairs

Perform regular checks of parking equipment such as ticket machines boom gates lighting and signage.
Identify and escalate faults promptly to minimise disruption to customers.
Assist with minor troubleshooting where appropriate in line with training.

Customer Service

Provide professional courteous assistance to customers addressing enquiries issues or complaints.
Act as a visible and approachable point of contact within the car park.
Escalate complex matters to the relevant support teams when required.

Event & Peak-Period Support

Assist with the coordination of parking during events and peak trading periods.
Support traffic flow management reservations and on-ground communication with customers and staff.
Ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience during high-volume periods.

Ad Hoc & Site Improvement Tasks

Carry out additional tasks as required including painting kerbs installing signage and minor facility enhancements.
Support site improvement works to maintain presentation and operational standards.

Skills & Experience

High school certificate or equivalent.
Previous customer service experience is advantageous but not essential.
Basic mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn equipment operation and maintenance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Comfortable in a fast-paced operational setting.

Cleaning Experience

Experience or familiarity with commercial cleaning practices equipment and products.
Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean well-presented facility.
