Drive clarity on all aspects of requirements with the product owner (user story tasks sub-tasks) identify and communicate dependencies by seeking clear alignment with Product and functional teams to commit to timeline estimate & quality
Add value to requirements by seeking completeness through adding knowledge of impact analysis usage of edge use cases acceptance criteria verification etc. Explain and help team members to understand the requirements
Solutioning/designing based on SAP Technology Stack with ABAP/FIORI
Work on and solve complex design stories/POCs for multiple services by applying design pattern/deployment knowledge. Find solutions for complex technical or functional problems Setup technical design (considering multiple services/platform level) and present to the team Review technical designs presented by other team members and provide suggestions for improvements if needed UI only: Propose and implement UI according to the latest standards; actively contribute and propose solutions in UX design discussions/meetings
Size user stories into development tasks and subtasks and set up tentative timelines Identify and seek guidance on dependencies Write clean efficient and secure code as per defined standards in a timely manner which is ready for production based on the expertise in your coding language Execute and review acceptance criteria before handing over to QA maintain relevant documentation to describe logic coding/configuration testing and changes where applicable. Showcase basic awareness of integrating the solutions and executing it into the system Support juniors with the coding of assigned tasks perform peer code reviews and reconfirm if coding practices are followed
Participate in the agile development framework by attending and actively participating in all agile ceremonies Create subtasks incl. estimates in JIRA and regularly update them within sprints as per defined definitions (DOR DOD)
Collaborate with team members to resolve impediments and seek support as needed Participate and actively learn from knowledge-sharing Listen respectfully and offer support to team members
Taking responsibility for own development and learning via self-study and participation or leading in team/department/company initiatives
What makes you excel in this position:
Bachelors degree in computer science or any other relevant field or an equivalent of the same in working experience.
4 years of work experience with SAPUI5 Freestyle Apps OData and in SAP BTP
2 years solid experience in SAP ABAP ABAP-OO development
Strong skills in Dynpro and OData development In-depth knowledge of Data Dictionary (DDIC) basics and advanced features.
Proficiency in development skills including design patterns software architecture principles (e.g. MVC) adherence to coding standards (KISS DRY SOLID) software testing and code quality along with knowledge of RESTful services.
