Summary
A Product Owner is responsible for defining prioritizing and managing the product backlog to deliver high-value software solutions. This role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams ensuring that products meet user needs align with business goals and are delivered efficiently using agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Define product vision strategy and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders and business leaders.
Gather and analyze requirements from business users customers and market research.
Create prioritize and maintain the product backlog to maximize business value.
Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
Participate in sprint planning daily stand-ups backlog refinement and sprint reviews.
Communicate progress risks and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.
Define acceptance criteria and validate product features before release.
Conduct user testing gather feedback and iterate on product features.
Ensure alignment of product features with business goals KPIs and customer needs.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers engineers QA teams and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to agile best practices within the organization.
Stay informed of industry trends competitor products and emerging technologies to inform product strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science or a related field.
3-6 years of experience in product ownership product management or agile project delivery.
Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban) and software development life cycles.
Excellent communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and backlog items.

Preferred Skills / Duties

Experience with project management and collaboration tools (Jira Confluence Trello).
Knowledge of UX/UI principles and software development processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and prioritizing competing demands.
Ability to measure product success using metrics KPIs and user feedback.
Familiarity with cloud platforms SaaS products or enterprise applications is a plus
