A Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for planning executing and delivering technology projects on time within scope and within budget.
The TPM acts as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders ensuring clear communication risk management and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and implementation of technical projects including defining project scope goals deliverables and timelines.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Develop detailed project plans; track progress and adjust as necessary.
Manage project risks issues and changes to ensure successful project delivery.
Facilitate communication between technical teams product owners and business stakeholders.
Ensure technical requirements are clearly understood and met by the development teams.
Monitor and report on project performance metrics and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering Information Technology or related field.
Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role in IT or software development.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban).
Excellent organizational leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Jira MS Project Trello).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
Mandatory Technical & Domain Skills Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban) .
Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira MS Project Trello Ability to interpret and manage technical requirements
Experience leading IT or software development projects area.
Mandatory Project Management Skills Project planning execution and delivery Risk issue and change management
Resource coordination with internal teams and vendors Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously .
Experience creating and maintaining detailed project plans .
Communication & Leadership Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Leadership skills to guide cross-functional technical teams .
