About the Role
AtZalaris we enable businesses to manage HR and payroll operations efficiently across multiple countries.
Werelooking for a proactive and analyticalControllerto strengthen financial governance and support decision-making acrossone this key role you willprovidefinancial insights ensureaccuratereporting and act as a trusted advisor to managers and operational teams. You will be instrumental in driving financial control supportingbudgetingand forecasting processes and ensuring alignment with businessobjectives.
This position is ideal for someone who combines strong financialexpertisewith a structured and collaborative positionwillbe responsible forthefollow up of Baltics and CzechRepublic and report to Finance Manager for region Northern Europewhositsis in Oslo Norway.
Your Responsibilities
- Support Country Managers Operations Service Delivery Managers and Project Managers with financial performance follow-up and proactive analysis
- Ensure accurate financial control of profit and loss statements and alignment with business targets
- Manage month-end closing activities including revenue and cost recognition within deadlines and quality standards
- Validate financial data in SAP and Power BI to ensure accuracy consistency and timeliness
- Prepare and deliver monthly business review reports analysing revenue margins and cost centre performance
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts identifying risks and opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate and support budget and forecast processes ensuring quality and compliance with group instructions
- Provide structured financial analyses and reports for ad hoc requests from management and operational teams
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and maintain high standards of quality and timeliness
Your Experience and Skills
- Minimum 35 years of experience in financial controlling business analysis or similar roles
- Strong understanding of P&L management budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
- Experience with SAP Power BI and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders
- Proactive analytical and structured mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills fluent in English (additional Nordic language is a plus)
- Degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or equivalent qualification
