7:00 AM 3:00 PM
3:00 PM 11:00 PM
11:00 PM 7:00 AM
Schedule: 7.5-hour shifts 5 days per week
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to support an acute care hospital by providing continuous cardiac monitoring and rhythm analysis. This role is critical in identifying cardiac abnormalities supporting rapid response efforts and ensuring accurate communication and documentation within the patient care team.
Responsibilities
Perform continuous ECG and telemetry monitoring for assigned patients
Analyze ECG strips and interpret cardiac arrhythmias
Identify document and immediately report life-threatening rhythm changes
Perform EKGs with correct lead and electrode placement
Respond promptly to telemetry alarms and troubleshoot monitoring equipment
Assist during emergency and code situations including rhythm documentation
Communicate effectively with nurses physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Enter verify and retrieve orders and laboratory results as required
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies
Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical standards at all times
Compensation
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
Completion of a Dysrhythmia Interpretation Course
Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
