Distribution Shift Lead

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day functions of the Warehouse. Provides essential support for all material handlers shipping receiving and converting.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Shipping/receiving and the inventory group.
Support the day-to-day operation of material handlers.
Determine daily work schedules and allocate personal; manage staffing.
Assist with ADP time and attendance for shift and have ready for Warehouse Coordinator/ Warehouse Manager signoff every 2 weeks.
Train personnel on warehouse equipment.
Manage warehouse spacing and inventory FIFO.
Assist the Warehouse Coordinator and/or Warehouse Manager to Evaluate work performance of materials handlers yearly and on as needed basis.
May coordinate and enter all necessary transactions in JD Edwards system and schedule shipping from the plant as back up to the shipping/receiving coordinator position as needed.
Operates forklift camp trucks box clamps slip sheeter and walkie-riders.
Help pick orders unload/ load trailers as needed.

Product Security Sensitive As a product sourcing facility our customers require Rockline to possess security standards and procedures to guard against the introduction of unmanifested cargo such as illegal drugs explosives weapons and people into outbound shipments. This position has contact or influence over these outbound shipments and is considered Product Security Sensitive.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.)
High School diploma or GED plus 2 years warehouse experience required. Forklift & Clamp Truck experience require. Experience in warehouse functions of JDE and Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel required. Must be organized and able to multi-task and solve issues in a timely manner. Must be able to work with speed in a fast-paced environment and with accuracy.

Must be able to communicate face-to-face and over the phone.
Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.

Work environment includes occasional noise >85db hot and cold temperatures and some fumes/odors.
Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color vision.
