Job Summary

Technical Lead / Software Architect

Location: Remote United States

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Lead / Software Architect to design and build a modern AI-powered platform focused on improving behavioral health and community care systems.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will own architecture decisions establish engineering standards and contribute production code. You will work closely with the CTO product leadership and engineering teams to build scalable services integrate AI capabilities and deliver a secure cloud-based platform.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable platform architecture using React Python and PostgreSQL
Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure
Develop AI-powered services including RAG-based workflows and LLM integrations
Define architecture standards code quality practices and technical documentation
Implement CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code and automated testing
Build secure systems aligned with HIPAA and regulated environment requirements
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software

Required Qualifications

8 years of software engineering experience
3 years in a technical lead or architect role
Strong expertise in TypeScript (React & ) Python and PostgreSQL
Experience building cloud-based applications on AWS or Azure
Hands-on experience with LLM integrations RAG architectures or AI-powered systems
Experience designing scalable multi-service architectures
Strong understanding of secure system design and data protection practices

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in healthcare health technology or regulated environments
Experience with vector databases AI/ML pipelines and model integration
Experience with Docker Kubernetes Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectures and API integrations
