Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop applications components and common services based on development models languages and tools including unit testing performance testing and monitoring and implementation
  • Support business and technology teams as necessary during design development and delivery to ensure scalable and robust solutions
  • Build data-intensive applications and services to support and enhance fundamental financials in appropriate technologies (C# .Net Core Databricks Python Scala NIFI SQL)
  • Build data modeling achieve performance tuning and apply data architecture concepts
  • Provide operations support to resolve issues proactively and with utmost urgency
  • Effectively manage time and multiple tasks
  • Communicate effectively especially written with the business and other technical groups

What Were Looking For:

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of strong hand-development in backend development building scalable and high-performance systems.
  • Strong proficiency in C# Core (or similar object-oriented programming languages).
  • Experience in developing optimizing and scaling backend services for high-performance applications.
  • Advanced SQL programming skills with experience in database performance tuning for large datasets.
  • Proficiency in relational database management systems (MS SQL PostgreSQL or similar).
  • Exposure to Big Data technologies such as EMR Databricks Scala Nifi or ETL processes is a plus.
  • Understanding cloud computing environments such as AWS Azure or GCP.
  • Working knowledge of containerized deployments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with large-scale messaging systems like RabbitMQ or commercial equivalents.
  • Strong logical analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding financial industry fundamentals is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Fundamentals or financial industry is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in cloud computing environments such as AWS Azure or GCP
  • Experience with large scale messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or commercial systems
