About the Role

The Internal Auditor IT & Cybersecurity plays a key role in strengthening our technology and risk management this position youll dive into IT and cybersecurity processes assess controls and help ensure our organization operates securely efficiently and in alignment with corporate and regulatory expectations.

Youll support the full lifecycle of audit engagementsfrom planning and risk assessment to fieldwork analysis and reportingwhile helping evolve audit programs to address emerging risks. Beyond traditional audit work youll contribute to departmental initiatives that drive continuous improvement enhance methodologies and refine internal processes.

Working both independently and collaboratively youll partner with internal stakeholders and external experts to deliver meaningful insights and high quality audit outcomes that support strong governance across the organization.


What You Get to Do:
Assist in planning and executing IT audit and advisory engagements to assess controls compliance and operational effectiveness
Perform audit procedures in alignment with Global Internal Audit Standards and ATCOs quality assurance framework
Conduct interviews and walkthroughs to document key processes risks and controls
Support coordination of external consulting resources on select projects
Identify and document observations and recommendations and contribute to report drafting
Complete followup testing on management action plans to verify remediation and drive improvement
Help develop and refine internal audit policies procedures methodologies and quality programs
Maintain audit documentation including trackers templates manuals and the audit universe
Support annual risk assessment activities and stay informed on emerging business risks
Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the organization
Oversee assigned work within audit engagements to ensure clarity accountability and quality


Who You Are:
Undergraduate degree in a relevant field
3 years of IT internal audit in public practice and/or industry
Working knowledge of the Institute of Internal Auditors Global Internal Audit Standards and IT audit frameworks such as COBIT NIST and ISO 27001
Completed or in-progress certification in: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP)
Able to clearly articulate identified problems and finding to senior team members
Strong analytical skills with the ability to see the big picture and interpret and assess the short- and long-term impacts of actions and strategies
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships easily and effectively across a broad range of internal and external parties
Self-starter who can work well independently or as part of a team
High ethical standards and integrity
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Results oriented and deadline driven
